Job Summary
As a Direct Care Worker, you would be responsible for helping your client with skills and tasks that encourage decision making and independence. You receive training on the needs and goals of your client so you can provide personalized care. Two sisters requiring full time care. Schedule can be negotiated.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job duties for this individual include: assisting with daily chores, encouraging the individual to make choices regarding their daily routine, monitoring the client for safety and teaching safety skills, encouraging the client to interact with their environment and others positively, and helping the client to recognize triggering situations and how to cope.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally, staff should be empathetic, show high attention to detail, have good interpersonal skills, be personable, organized, and demonstrate good time management skills.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
