PRMA Plastic Surgery is Hiring a Healthcare Office Manager/ Surgical Coordinator Near Plano, TX

Institute for Advanced Reconstruction, an ARSA Surgical Practice.

ARSA is a collective of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Practices, providing the most advanced and cutting-edge reconstructive surgery in the United States. Specializing in Breast Reconstruction, microsurgical nerve repair, trauma surgery, craniofacial reconstructions, hand and upper extremity repair, ARSA practices have set the stage for the best tertiary care in the world.

ARSA has expanded its footprint to the Dallas market, with the Institute for Advanced Reconstruction complementing its other Texas-based practices. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Office Manager/Surgical Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations and coordinating surgical procedures for highly skilled breast and reconstructive plastic surgeons. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills and healthcare management experience.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and medical records management

- Assure the delivery of superior customer service for all our patients.

- Coordinate surgical procedures including pre-operative testing, scheduling, and post-operative follow-up care

- Act as the liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate billing and reimbursement

- Create strong working relationships with referring practices and develop new referral streams.

- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering when necessary

- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure safe, efficient and effective operations

- Manage and train office staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and customer service

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients

- Identify and mitigate barriers as identified through patient complaints. Participate in the development of programs and services that address specific aspects of the patient's experience within his/her assigned area of responsibility.

- Provide instruction to influence employees to deliver excellent patient experiences

- Take responsibility for coaching and rectifying all personnel problems

- Develop new work processes/protocols where appropriate.

- Actively work with employees to improve their individual level and department performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred) - 3 years of experience in healthcare management, surgical coordination, or related field

- Strong leadership and team management skills, evidenced by excellent organizational and communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical software applications

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
