Please join our friendly family of hotels as a maintenance person at our award-winning Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia Northeast / Ft.
Jackson area in sunny Columbia, South Carolina. This position is a Preventative Maintenance position split between the Residence Inn and Courtyard in Columbia, South Carolina.
BASIC PURPOSE : Perform basic duties of engineering, repair and maintenance as directed by Management in guestrooms and all other hotel areas as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Perform preventative maintenance, work orders; monitor progress and results. (65%)
2. Perform special projects. (20%)
4. Work on all life / safety systems including fire, elevators, disasters and emergency lighting and generating systems. (10%)
5. Maintain all motors and control circuits. (0%)
6. Arrange for proper trash removal and recycling. (1%)
7. Purchase equipment and supplies. Maintain pars. (0%)
8. Maintain audio system within the hotel. (1%)
