Privvy Modern Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Medical Assistant at Privvy Modern Health, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our providers and patient care teams by performing a range of clinical and clerical duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and members of the patient care team(s), performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Assist in maintaining smooth patient workflow within the department and aid in the implementation of the medical plan of care.
• Integrate education, technical competence, and excellent patient interaction skills to establish confidence and cooperation among patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform all duties under the direction and guidance of clinicians.

Qualifications:

• Possess general knowledge of various medical procedures, views, and equipment.
• Competent and validated in basic Medical Assisting skills such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical individuals.
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
