Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Veterinary Technician to join our brand new team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for client education, heartfelt animal care skills, and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top notch veterinary services. Since we are a brand new clinic, we are looking for someone with at least a few years of experience as a RVT.

Duties:

- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as cytology samples and in house blood machines
- Take and develop X-rays
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on pet health and wellness
- Maintain accurate medical records

Skills:

- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
- Strong client and staff communication skills
- Ability to work well with the team
- Familiarity with animal husbandry and catheterization techniques
- Strong animal handling skills including restraint and care
- Ability to provide exceptional pet care

About Us:

We are a new privately owned clinic in Hartville OH that focuses on an exceptional experience for both our pet patients and their owners. We provide primarily companion animal services.
