Job Summary

The Retirement Plan Analyst researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers the 403(b), 401(a), 415(m), and 457 retirement savings program. Researches and maintains knowledge of pension and retirement savings laws, concepts, practices, and procedures to make recommendations related to corporate retirement programs. Works closely with vendor account representatives, benefit consultants and benefit attorneys to administer corporate retirement programs. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

This position can be considered for remote work.

Accountabilities

  • Works closely with audit, accounting, payroll, ERISA counsel and retirement plan providers to ensure compliance, non-discrimination testing, plan data, plan contributions and distributions are handled correctly and timely.

  • Supports Prisma Health's team members by assisting with escalated issues; develops solutions and recommends appropriate actions.

  • Manages the annual plan audits and other audit related activities.

  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure plan information is up to date.

  • Collaborates with internal partners and plan providers to oversee compliance and identify and implement control updates and process improvements.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - Business, HR administration or related field

  • 4 years - Retirement, benefits, HR, project management, or related field

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • Retirement Plan certification, preferred (CRP, CEBS, RPA)

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

  • Knowledgeable of the compliance requirements of qualified and non-qualified retirement programs.

  • Ability to successfully interpret all retirement and benefits plan documents.

  • Excellent project management skills, detail oriented and highly organized
