Job Summary

This position plays an integral part in the success of the business unit. This position is responsible for applying a comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations to manage the business operations functions of Payor Alignment and Strategies division. Additionally, this position is responsible for development and management of departmental knowledge base sources, reference resources, presentations, and any other planning, analysis, and implementation of efforts in support of the full development of the division. This position is also responsible for conducting planning and supervising of departmental initiatives related to the business operations of the division in addition to managing and tracking the entire onboarding process of all new team members, such as departmental review, procurement of all tangible needs, requisition submissions and other various onboarding functions. This position is also responsible for vendor management, invoicing, expense reconciliation and tracking, as well as contract document management.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinates all operational activities, presentations, and education sessions amongst all departments within the business unit. - 30%

  • Manages the divisions new staff onboarding process, including but not limited to procurement of technical resources, departmental function overview, alignment of departmental resources, and requisition creation and tracking. \u2013 15%

  • Manages divisional communication updates to ensure all leaders comply with the necessary team members requirements. - 5%

  • Prepares any necessary executive level presentation with the assistance of their assigned leader. \u2013 15%

  • Assists in facilitating divisional meetings amongst all stakeholders as well as coordination of all activities related to those sessions. \u2013 15%

  • Builds, maintains, and manages the divisions knowledge base. - 15%

  • Focuses on special divisional projects as required. - 5%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business management, healthcare administration or other related field of study

  • 2 years - Health care, finance, operations

In Lieu Of

In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, ten (10) years of industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills including work processing, spreadsheets, databases, and data entry

  • Experience working in healthcare or health plan environment.

  • Data entry skills

  • Mathematical skills
