Position Summary The ophthalmic assistant conduct measurements and tests that provides the physician with the information needed to arrive at a diagnosis and to prescribe treatment. The ophthalmic assistant is responsible for required documentation in compliance with the policies and provide excellent patient services.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in eye care preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills for electronic recordkeeping.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Requirements & ADA Compliance:
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
Visual acuity to perform job-related tasks.
Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment.
