Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure the efficient and accurate movement of goods.
Duties:
- Operate standard forklift
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse using forklifts
- Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while operating forklifts
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Forklift operations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the position
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs on forklifts is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
