Prism Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Elgin, IL

Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. If you have experience in dental records, dental office procedures, and patient service, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments using dental scheduling systems
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical histories
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with insurance billing and payment processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed. Assist with general administrative tasks as assigned
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Able to perform chair side dental assisting, sterilizing dental instruments and record x rays

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in dental scheduling systems and insurance billing is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Spanish speaking candidate is preferred. New Dental Assisting Graduates are welcome to apply.
