Priority Staffing Group is Hiring a Visitor Experience Coordinator Near Marion, IL
Some job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Possess a dynamic, in-depth knowledge of the area’s top attractions, museums, entertainment venues, restaurant’s, shopping, hotels and transportation options.
- Answer all inbound communications and distribute emails as necessary.
- Will assist the marketing team with advertising products.
- Keep monthly reports of visitation numbers, phone calls and referrals.
- Stay up to date on all current events happening in the area.
- Manage services inventory to include brochures, travel literature, promotional items and destination gifts.
- Serve as onsite event staff for events as needed, expected to work events nights and weekends as required.
- Knowledge of local tourist attractions is key to success.
- Understanding of tourism as an economic driver for the local community.
- A background in tourism and/or marketing is preferred.
- Some social media and content creation experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Excellent customer service with a strong eye for detail.
- Travel to out-of-town events as needed.
