Role Overview:

The IT Field Resource is a pivotal role responsible for executing IT-related functions at a professional level while collaborating closely with nursing homes within their designated markets to ensure seamless system operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deployment, Servicing, and Ordering of Equipment.
  • Installation of Networking and Telco Equipment.
  • Processing of Warranty Requests and Returns.
  • Management of Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Handling of Zendesk Tickets and Equipment Quotes.
  • Local travel within the Shreveport/Bossier City Market, with occasional out-of-market travel.
  • Support for Facility Administration, Nursing, and Service Center Team Members.
  • Collaboration with Fellow Field Ops Team Members.
  • Project Management.

Working Conditions:

This role operates in a 24/7 environment with extensive local travel (75% ), including the ability to drive distances of up to 4 hours as required. Monthly or as-needed air travel is also part of this position. Work primarily takes place in office areas, network rooms (MDF/IDF), Telco Rooms, and other storage areas. Some risk of injury may exist from falls, equipment burns, exposure to dust, disinfectants, hazardous chemicals, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Experience in a comparable IT Field support role, such as Help Desk Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting 100 users or multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple facilities as a mobile field technician, visiting one or more sites daily.
  • Proficiency in IT cabling infrastructure and troubleshooting of level 1 and 2 support issues.
  • Collaborative approach, working closely with other IT departments including Networking, Engineering, Telco, and Help Desk to address trouble tickets, projects, and tech refreshes.
  • Direct experience deploying equipment across various scales, including Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Monitors, Peripherals, Printers, Copiers, and Medical support equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of various hardware and software solutions, including HP, Lenovo, Dell Computers, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Microsoft Suite, Citrix, Active Directory, Workday, Edge, Chrome, Chrome OS, Apple iOS, Android Devices, iPhone, Zendesk, and Imaging Computers.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, identify emerging technologies, and contribute to ecosystem advancement.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows OS 8.1, 10, and 11.
