Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Assistant:

Occupational Therapist Assistant plans and conducts individualized therapy programs in a skilled nursing environment to help patients develop, regain or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. Occupational Therapists Assistant teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities. Occupational Therapist Assistant records patients’ activities and progress.

Qualifications of a Physical Therapist Assistant:

• Associate from an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant School.
• Licensed in the State of New York.
• CPR/BLS certification.
