Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Print Shop Operator to join our team. As a Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This is a part or full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Pre-flight customer supplied print files, make necessary changes or adjustments to files and send to presses.
- Work with customers for proof approvals, scheduling and completion of orders.
- Operate and maintain digital printing presses and related bindery equipment, cutter, folder, booklet maker, ect.
-Order supplies as needed, keep track of orders and delivery dates.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Fabricate and finish printed products according to work orders.
- Work directly with customers for proof approvals, scheduling and completion of orders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Print Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating printing machines, presses, and other printing equipment
- Familiarity with color management techniques and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Able to trouble shoot and make decisions to get orders completed and on time.
- Experience in a print shop or sign shop is required.
- Local pick up and delivery using company van. You must have a valid drivers license and CLEAN driving record. These are a must.
