Printpack, an essential company and leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Electro Mechanical to provide expertise and effective support in keeping the equipment/plant at optimum operating condition. This position is for the Films plant in Grand Prairie, Texas and will provide electro-mechanical support to the plant and maintain plant equipment and machinery. Night shift (7pm-7am) position on a rotating 3/2 schedule. Wage range: $24.72 - $37.08/hr (with relevant experience) plus an additional $2.50/hr shift differential for hours worked between 7pm-7am. ***We are currently offering a Sign-On Bonus in the amount of $3,000 for this position.*** Key Responsibilities: Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant Set up and troubleshoot VFDs Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions Use shop equipment, such as welder, mill, etc, to manufacture or repair mechanical components Recommend changes in installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures Communicate actions taken to repair the machine to operator and/or manager Communicate effectively with team members, corporate engineering, vendors, and internal customers Demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required Strong emphasis on troubleshooting in a team environment Able to effectively redirect efforts on short notice Proficient computer skills Able to work any shift Willingness to learn Physical ability to climb and work at elevations Preferred: Nice blend of mechanical and electrical experience Experience working with single phase / 3 phase motors Experience working in a food grade environment Printpack offers a competitive benefits package including: Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage Life Insurance Short/Long Term Disability 401(k) plan with employer contributions/match Employee Assistance Programs Educational Assistance Fitness Center Reimbursement Program Service Awards Paid Holidays Paid Parental Leave Wellness Coach Printpack is proudly an equal opportunity employer.
