About the Job

The Entry Level Digital File Checker for Print Design's official title is a Prepress Specialist. This is an entry level role, and no previous print or print shop experience is required - we'll train!

What You'll Do

Prepress Specialists use their experience with Acrobat and design software to review and edit customer’s digital files to prepare them for print. You must have a keen eye for detail and work closely with all departments in order to ensure that we are meeting the customer’s expectation for their order. Our Prepress Specialists must be resourceful, have strong problem-solving skills, and know how to manage their time. You must be able to tactfully deliver as well as receive constructive criticism and corrections. You will receive training in all our products, processes, and software.

Required: This is a fast-paced, heavy print production setting and you need to work well with others and thrive in a deadline-driven working environment.

• Prepress experience is preferred, but not required
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline driven environments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills (ability to catch errors or notice patterns)
• Strong computer skils
• Strong logic and reasoning skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Interest in learning new skills, we train!

Full-time set schedule:

• Monday- Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
