Bindery Helper / Sheeter Assistant

This position may lead to becoming a Sheeter Operator

• Assist the Sheeter Operator by identifying the proper rolls for upcoming jobs, and staging rolls into the sheeter.
• Will need to splice rolls into the sheeter, remove all damaged sections of the rolls and calculate how many feet were damaged.
• Be able to identify grades and caliper of paper rolls and sheets. Physically Locating the rolls using Carton ERP (operating system).

Shift: Rotational Schedule

1st Position: Monday-Friday 8 hrs., must be available for overtime and weekends as needed. (1st Shift 6am, 2nd shift 2pm; rotates every 3 months)

2nd Position: 3 days per week must be available for overtime as needed (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1st shift 3am, and 2nd Shift 3pm; Thursday, Friday, Saturday 1st shift 3am, and 2nd Shift 3pm). Every other Sunday as needed. Rotates every 3 months.

Wage range: $17.00 to $19.00 (Depending on experience)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Rotating shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• staging rolls into the sheeter: 1 year (Preferred)
• splice rolls, prepare and connect rolls: 1 year (Preferred)
• identify roll types: 1 year (Preferred)
