Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting, restoration, and general labor tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the beautification of properties.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and washing walls
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Perform stucco repair and caulking as needed
- Utilize airless paint spraying equipment for efficiency
- Restore surfaces to their original condition
- Operate power tools for sanding and scraping
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for measurements
- Handle hand tools effectively for precision work
- Assist with frame carpentry tasks when required
- Apply color theory knowledge to achieve desired paint shades
Experience:
- Proven experience in painting and labor tasks
- Familiarity with building materials and techniques
- Proficiency in stucco repair, caulking, and airless paint spraying
- Ability to operate power tools safely
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Competence in using hand tools for detailed work
- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is a plus
- Understanding of color theory for paint mixing
