Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity:

TalentWell is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to support the team for a rapidly growing medical ancillary services company and their clients (Home Health and Nursing Homes/Skilled Nursing Facilities) within Austin, TX . Previous experience working as a mobile phlebotomist, drawing blood for geriatric patients and supporting nursing homes/skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred! All applicants must be comfortable with high volume blood draws and frequent travel within the Austin and surround areas. Active Texas Driver's License and personal vehicle for use is required for this role.

• Full-time position
• Pay: $20.00/hour (.47/mileage reimbursement)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (3AM-11AM)
• Location: Role travels daily following assigned routes/schedules within the Bastrop, TX area ; specimen drop off at the FedEx next to the Austin Airport

Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
• Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
• Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
• Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
• Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
• Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
• Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of the company's laboratory services
• Other job-related duties as assigned by manager

Mobile Phlebotomist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Geriatric or SNF fields (we are open to candidates with less experience as well)
• Phlebotomist License/Certification and completion of Phlebotomy Program is preferred
• Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Reliable means of personal transportation
• Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems

Mobile Phlebotomist Physical Requirements:
