PRINCIPLE CHOICE SOLUTIONSPayroll Administrator

POSITION PURPOSEThe Payroll Administrator’s primary purpose is to manage the payroll process, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.ORGANIZATIONThis position reports to the Controller.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with HR and Operations to seamlessly process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely.
  • Process off-cycle payroll.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee data and payroll transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws.
  • Provide NAA support.
  • Review W-2 forms (annually).
  • Process third-party (MOO) payments to employees on STD.
  • Provide support and validate annual bonus payments (annually).
  • Maintain program support schedules (costs between SP and PCS).
  • Track and validate Claims XM hours (monthly).
  • Complete timesheet adjustments for Optum Scheduling (monthly).
  • Review and validate REA’s (ad hoc).
  • Collaborate with ADP on quarterly and annual conference calls.
  • Assist with the Form 5500 filing (annually).
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation.
  • Manage project assignments in Unanet.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Higher education in Business/Finance preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP and other related software.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and customer service communication skills.
  • Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value.

MACHINES & EQUIPMENTThe incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.WORKING CONDITIONSThe incumbent works in a work from home office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.
