Essential Functions

  • Sourcing candidates using internal and external databases and networking sites.
  • Present qualified candidates to the Sales and Operations team for consideration
  • Actively develop and maintain a network of candidates to support PSS business strategies using a variety of methods including sourcing, referrals, cold calling, internet, advertising, job fairs, etc..
  • Comprehend and sell open positions to passive candidates.
  • Interview and accurately assess candidates' qualifications for assignments.
  • Record and provide accurate and timely feedback and metrics
  • Provide a daily report on status and progress on assigned positions and actively participate in the weekly status review.
  • Meet quarterly goals as set by VP Operations
  • Enter and track data accurately in company Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Utilization and understanding of the recruiting tools provided
  • Utilization and building of social media recruiting channels
  • Manage candidate expectations, perform 30-day follow up with placed candidates and focus on retaining/building employee satisfaction
  • Must be able to travel to various career fair events located throughout the US to promote PSS and our open requisitions

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ recruiting experience in a technical recruiting environment
  • Strong ability to recruit in a fast-paced industry
  • Strong drive to succeed with demonstrated success delivering to targeted quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to source new prospects using the telephone, internet, and social media.
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new applications in a timely fashion
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate people to determine suitability for assigned positions
  • Ability to multi-task and shift back and forth between multiple tasks/priorities.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to remain focused with determination to deliver results.
  • Must be capable of success within an ambiguous environment and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities.
  • Must have great time management skills and be motivated to work both in a team environment and individually

Software Skills Required: Windows, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of recruiting Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) will be advantageous
Personal Characteristics And Work Environment
The recruiter must have the ability to form and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients and candidates. Attention to detail and the ability to work with minimum supervision are critical, as is the ability to understand, follow and create verbal and written communication in the English language and have the ability to maintain effective, confidential communications via telephone, Internet, hard copy, and in-person while working in a non-private workspace. The recruiter must have a “team mentality” and participate in the delivery of corporate goals and objectives.
