Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is seeking an experienced, dedicated CNC Grind Machinist. This individual will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of CNC machining processes working on tight tolerance, complex parts, and be comfortable with the creep feed surface grinding processes. First and second shift opportunities available.

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM

Requirements

• Setup and operate creep feed grinder
• Make minor program adjustments as needed
• Verify machine settings prior to operation
• Follow specifications according to customer or internal work instructions
• Use in-process gauges to validate operations and document findings accordingly
• Perform basic machine maintenance to PM schedule
• Oversee consumable inventory and provide feedback to purchasing as required
• Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot and correct tool or equipment issues
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Train additional personnel to cover increasing production requirements 
• Grind complex tight tolerance features in high-temp alloys 

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Solid understanding of GD&T with ability to read and interpret drawing requirements
• Basic shop math and computer literacy
• Adaptable to working in a team or minimally supervised individual setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, positive, team-player approach to work and projects alike 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant CNC surface grinding experience
• Proven track record with consistent employment in industry
• Portfolio or examples of work
• Willingness to demonstrate on-machine aptitude 
• Willingness to work overtime as requested
