Cardiology Registered Nurse

We are currently looking to hire a full time Cardiology RN to work in our Internal Medicine Department

Cardiology RN Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for physician examination
• Patient Education on cardiology treatments and expectations
• Taking & recording vitals
• Preparing patient chart with appropriate documentation
• Maintains safe, secure, healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
• Patient phone triage
• Scheduling lab tests
• Monitoring & stocking patient exam rooms
• Assisting physician with procedures & exams
• The ability & willingness to provide relief in any of our local offices as determined by supervisor
• Responsibilities vary by practice and specialty
• Administer EKGs
• Administer Stress Tests

Cardiology RN Requirements:

• Current New Jersey RN License
• Cardiology experience preferred
• ACLS Certification preferred
• BLS Certification
• Mixing experience preferred
• Experience with an EMR system
• Knowledge of chemotherapy drugs

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, flexibility is necessary as this schedule is subject to change.
