Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure cloud platform. As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting various data-related initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement data security and compliance measures in accordance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure HDInsight.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
