BASIC FUNCTION/NATURE OF WORK:
This position assists in maintaining order at a school cafeteria during lunch time. Work involves setting up tables in the cafeteria and supervising students during lunch. Work is performed under the general supervision of the building principal. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/ILLUSTRATIVE EX OF WORK:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Assists setting up tables in cafeteria. Maintains order in the cafeteria by supervising children and enforcing cafeteria rules while teacher is on break. Assists students as necessary. Notifies teachers of disciplinary problems. Assists clearing of tables after lunch. Performs other duties as required.
