Prince William County Government is Hiring an Early Intervention Supervisor (Clinical Services Case Management Manager) Near Prince, VA

The Infant and Toddler Connection (ITC) of Greater Prince William is looking for a full-time Early Intervention Supervisor to join our team of early intervention professionals providing specialized services to eligible infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. Provide support, guidance, communication and training to vendors; develop and present orientation modules for all new ITC staff; develop, present and/or support ongoing trainings for all ITC staff; supervision of direct services staff; attend team meetings and mentor staff as needed. Performs professional and supervisory work in coordinating, tracking, and monitoring a system of Early Intervention services designed to provide a range of clinical and supervisory family support services to families of infants and toddlers (ages 0 to 3 years) with developmental disabilities; and performs related work as required.

This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as funds permit. The first installment of $2,500 is payable upon the County’s first regular pay date following your position start and the final $2,500 installment will be payable on the pay date following the completion of probation.

About This Role:
As an Early Intervention Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of highly motivated, multi-disciplinary early intervention professionals and specialists, providing supervision, training, mentoring and staff oversight. As an EI Supervisor you will assist the Program Manager/Division Manager in the planning and execution of system wide training and staff support, including state required fidelity assessment implementation and assurance to best practice system wide. This position is responsible for direct supervision, performance evaluations for assigned therapeutic/developmental services staff as well as hiring and onboarding, and supporting vendors in conjunction with Program Manager/Division Manager. You will participate on the eligibility committee to determine eligibility for early intervention services in accordance with current Part C standards, perform assessment for service planning, develop IFSPs, recommend services using a primary service provider model, and provide direct services as needed using the coaching style of interaction. EI Supervisors participate in staff meetings and Teamings to support a collaborative approach to the development of each infant and toddler in adherence of natural learning environment practices.

Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience. 
  • VA license/certification to practice physical, occupational, speech-language pathology, early childhood special education or have LCSW, LPC or MFT license.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a Part C program or similar human services local/state/federal program.
  • Prefer appropriate VA license/certification to practice physical, occupational, speech-language pathology, early childhood special education or have LCSW, LPC or MFT license.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a Part C program or similar human services local/state/federal program.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in clinical supervision of multi-disciplinary clinical staff
  • Current VA Part C Certificate or eligible to obtain the certification by start date, with experience working in a VA EI program.
Special Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV record check
  • Must pass TB test
  • Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check
  • Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
Work Schedule:
This position is typically Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day with the possibility of administrative and supervisory duties extending beyond this on occasion. The EI Supervisor will work in the office and remotely as program needs dictate.
Starting Salary Range:
$88,939.50-$118,162.25
