What you’ll do as a Technician Fiber Installation:
- Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
- Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Install, setup and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches
- Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
- Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner
- Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
- Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
- Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
- Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
- Completes and maintains all training
What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Possess or willingness to get a valid CDL Class "A" driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
