ServiceNow Business Analyst - 52916

Pay range - $40 - $45/hr

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of ServiceNow Business Analyst to work in Austin, TX on Hybrid basis.

The worker's responsibilities and skills must include:

• Previous experience with and expert knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities
• Mapping processes and designing technical solutions to address pain points, improve processes and increase automation.
• Gathering business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Defining product themes, epics, user stories and product features.
• Facilitating prioritization sessions for the product backlog.
• Facilitating sprint planning sessions to establish a sprint backlog.
• Documenting requirements and system design using approved agency formats.
• Being a creative thinker to solve business issues.
• Mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.
• Assisting in the translation of business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Facilitating and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows and system design.
• Writing test cases and scripts to validate code is working as documented.
• Writing release notes and training documentation.

Minimum (Required)

• 5 Years - Experience with general IT SDLC processes
• 5 Years - Experience working with ServiceNow / ServiceNow projects
• 5 Years - Skilled in working on agile projects utilizing scrum and waterfall methodologies
• 5 Years -Skilled in extracting business, functional and non-functional requirements from business units and IT staff
• 5 Years - Skilled in test case planning and quality assurance reviews of test scripts
• 5 Years - Skilled in QA/QC reviews
• 5 Years -Experience analyzing raw data
• 5 Years -Skilled in documenting requirements and translating functional requirements to technical specifications
• 5 Years - Experienced in establishing and maintaining a sprint backlog
• 5 Years - Experience in creating written communications and training for business users
• 5 Years - Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff
• 5 Years - Skilled in mediating business units with conflicting and competing business requirements
• 5 Years - Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external resources

Preferred (Optional):

• 2 Years - Experience with one or more state of Texas government agencies
• 2 Years - Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations or GRC
• 2 Years - ServiceNow certification
