We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Product / Technical Specialist, to work on a Remote basis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager (PM), Architect, and Administrators to develop ETL processes and reports.
• Responsible for ensuring smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading processes as an ETL developer.
• Create, execute, and document unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Design and develop ETL processes to efficiently extract data from various sources and transform it for analytical purposes.
• Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of ETL processes and reports through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Monitor and administer automated and manual data integration and ETL jobs.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for ETL processes as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in BI, ETL, and data analytics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in ETL processes.

Required Skills:

• Specializes in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using ETL tools such as Matillion, DataStage, etc.
• Experience in Snowflake, Netezza.
• Experience with Data warehousing techniques (Star Schema, Snowflaking, Normalization, Denormalization, Aggregations).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address complex data challenges effectively.
