Primrose School of Symmes is a Private Preschool serving families with infant through School-Aged aged children. We are seeking an Support Teachers to care for children 6 weeks through 12 years. Our accredited school provides an outstanding learning environment with curriculum that is developed by experts in the early childhood field. We are now hiring immediately!

Qualifications:

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• High school diploma/GED required
• Experience working with children, ages 6 weeks-12 years preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children aged 6 weeks through 12 years.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
• Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
• Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions & assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
