• Initiates repair orders, enters tech notes concerning parts on orders, reviews for accuracy, and obtains approval for repairs for all company-owned assets above set thresholds before finalizing.
• Scheduling appointments for vendor repairs.
• Keeps Vehicle and Equipment data base current.
• Track daily Vehicle kilometers /hours and Heavy Equipment hours.
• Update Repair and Maintenance records with current service and PM status.
• Work with R&M personnel for servicing requirements.
• Monitor progress of actual planned maintenance and repairs for light vehicles.
• Communicate with vendors / jobsites of planned maintenance.
• Assist in scheduling work, answering questions, and advising on repairs within established guidelines. Reviews technician time postings for accuracy.
• Knowledge and use of industry terminology, for accurate service writing /estimating and parts requesting.
• Assists the service manager in assuring that the shop is following governmental regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies. And ensuring all manuals and other resources are up to date.

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing parts, and materials is helpful.
• Knowledge of multiple Industries including automotive, equipment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Projects, capabilities desirable.
