Primoris Water & Mechanical is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for a yearlong project in Gainesville, Florida.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks on our project.
The focus is underground excavation and shoring installation. This includes operating equipment such as large excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders.
The operator will work closely with the project team to ensure project goals are met and safety standards are adhered to.

Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment such as a backhoe, skid steer, excavator, dozer, and other miscellaneous equipment.
The primary need is excavation and driving shoring beam and plate. Must have thorough knowledge of the operation, safety, and maintenance of the equipment being operated.
Must possess the ability to safely operate equipment in the presence of field crew members and underground utilities and aboveground interferences, ensuring the safety of all persons, equipment, and property.
Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any violations to field supervision immediately.
