Position Summary: Under limited supervision of the National Sales Director, the Outside Sales Loan Officer will be a part of Primis Mortgage’s sales force. The Outside Sales Loan Officer is responsible for building a highly visible reputation as the mortgage loan expert in assigned areas resulting in the generation of quality mortgage loans that meet the criteria of Primis Mortgage products. The Outside Sales Loan Officer is also responsible for discussing client needs, recommending the best loan products, helping customers put together a complete loan package and working with the underwriting team throughout the loan process. The Outside Sales Loan Officer will utilize professional judgement to authorize or deny loan applications. The Outside Sales Loan Officer will act as a liaison between customers and Primis Mortgage and help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

In terms of an 8-hour workday, “occasional” equals 1% to 33%, “frequent” equals 34% to 66%, and “continuous” equals 67% to 100%.
