Main accountabilities
E&I Construction Resource Specific Duties
Contribute where needed in the design stages of construction projects
Contribute technical expertise to project drawings and designs
Prepare work schedules in collaboration with the project manager
Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
Oversee electrical construction processes
Material acquisition and construction material management
Aid in the construction projects completion on time and within budget
Document progress and keep detailed construction logs
Performance measures
The E&I Construction Resource will be evaluated on several factors
a. Ability to manage contractor scheduling within project timeline
b. Demonstrates competence in material acquisition
c. Ability to multitask
d. Show flexibility to move from one task to another where needed
Skills and experience required
Entry to this position requires an AS Degree in Construction Management or related discipline
Or 10 years practical experience in construction or facilities maintenance in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations and electrical construction and safety regulations
