Required Education: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting. CPA or CMA certification. SAP FI certification or SAP FI Power User
Position Overview: This position within the Primetals Technologies USA LLC Alpharetta, GA location will support our Accounting Department. As a member of the Accounting Department, the candidate will be responsible for performing day to day general accounting activities, including general ledger reconciliations and other related reconciliations. The position will also be responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts, support of the month-end close and reporting process. The person will be responsible for monthly filing of sales and use tax in all states PTUS is registered. This task includes reconciling Taxware data to SAP, analyzing AP and AR invoices, file taxes via each state's website, make online payment to the various states and post in SAP. The person will be responsible for timely online payment of all PTUS utility vendors, managing GRIR account, manage GL postings of IFRS16 leases. The position will report directly to the Accounting and Treasury Manager.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, and other general accounting duties as assigned:

• GL Account reconciliations
• Reviewing and Processing Journal Entries into SAP
• Support Month-End close processes
• Other Miscellaneous accounting duties
• Working with SAP

Required Skills/Knowledge, Education and Experience:
Must have:

• Microsoft Excel Skills (Intermediate to advance skills such as Vlook-up, Pivot tables, etc…)
• Experience in accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Strong attention to detail; process oriented, with excellent judgement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 5-8 years’ experience working in a general accounting setting
• Excellent oral & written communication skills are required
• A professional that works well in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, customer-service oriented attitude when collaborating with internal customers and business
