Role: QA Testing - Non Functional (Automation, Regression, Performance) - OTT Media domain

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities

• 5 years of testing experience in OTT Media domain
• Experience in Audio / Video testing
• Experience in cross-browser platform testing
• Hand-on experience in testing of APIs / Microservices, Android TV, Mobile or Embedded products in Consumer electronics space Mobiles, Smart TV or connected devices like Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku TV etc
• Good knowledge of streaming protocols (DASH,HLS) and and DRM technologies like Fairplay, Widevine and PlayReady leveraging them in testing Live, VOD, DVR streaming
• Solid debugging skills and able to identify the root cause of issues
• Hands-on with network proxy tool such as Charles, ADB, Web Developer tools. Should have knowledge of reading/modifying network requests
• Needs extensive experience in monitoring tools like Newrelic, Appsflyer, Firebase and Clevertap
• Experience to develop the automation scripts according to the workload profile using tools like testproject.io, JMeter, STB Tester and perform script maintenance on it
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools & process is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, motivational and team building skills
• You are a creative thinker and experienced problem solver
