We currently have an immediate opening available for a candidate who is knowledgeable with servicing diesel engines, components of medium/heavy duty trucks, vehicles and other mechanical equipment. Do you like a variety of work, great benefits and opportunities to grow? If so, then please read on-
PrimeFlight GSE, the largest provider in Ground Support Maintenance, maintains and services airfield ground support vehicles/equipment across the U.S. for major airlines and aviation organizations. We are looking for a Technician who can provide quality maintenance practices that will drive PrimeFlight’s vision to “be the maintenance service provider of choice in every location we do business.” The location is based at our shop at the MCI airport.

Essential Functions:
As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining motorized and non-motorized Airline & Aircraft Ground Service Equipment. In this position you will provide a prompt and efficient service by performing the following duties:

Education/Experience:
N/A
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisor, as well as other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word applications.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid State Driver’s License with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record. Some states require a State’s Mechanic license.
