Responsibilities:
- Receive and inventory incoming and outgoing freight.
- Manage the flow of freight.
- Quality Control: Be involved in receiving inspections and final inspections.
- Implement work instructions for all tasks.
- Understand and manage storage and inventory.
- Integrate coaching into warehouse operations.
- Immediately address non-conformance to safety issues.
- Ensure an environment where unsafe acts and conditions are identified and eliminated.
- Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
- Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
- Conducts on-the-job training for employees.
- Ensures Company is compliant with all federal and state laws as it relates to safety.
- Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline orientated.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be responsible and work with little to no supervision.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills.
