Prime Therapy Services is a group of highly trained and expert behavioral health clinicians in the Bedminster, NJ area. Our fast-growing private practice is seeking a highly motivated and well-grounded licensed clinician to work a hybrid work style with flexible hours. We specialize in individual psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and family system dynamics. Prime Therapy offers in-person groups to include adolescent, young adult, and adult DBT groups, LGBTQ , and parent groups, to name a few. We are currently growing our holistic services to include meditation, breath work, sound bowl healing, reiki, and yin yoga.

Our team is searching for a clinician specializing in adult, couples, and family work. The part-time clinical position offers the ability to make one’s own schedule and will have the opportunity for group therapy work as well. Being available 2-3 days per week is required. Our office services both in-person and Telehealth clients.

One or more years of experience with adults and couples is required.

Asking for availability in the afternoons & evenings to accommodate client’s schedules.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the goals of Prime Therapy Services by providing clinical services based on best practices to individuals in an outpatient setting. Accountable and responsible for the following results:

Serve as a primary clinician for caseload – 10-15 hour work week (part-time).

Group clinician - The part-time clinician will be required to fill in on groups as needed and is welcome to formulate their own groups in our group therapy space.

Conduct intake assessments/psychosocial evaluations and develop initial treatment plans.

Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy, which is flexible and responsive to clients needs.

Setting up appointments with clients that serve their needs. You can make your own schedule that works for you and your client.

Assess clients' abilities and mental health status, needs and preferences, and ongoing appropriateness of services.

Complete progress notes, documenting progress on service goals and objectives, psychosocial histories, admissions and discharge summaries, and other documentation within the guidelines for timeliness.

Serve as a liaison between client, family, other Prime Therapy programs, other parts of the mental health system, and other community resources.

Foster collaboration within the treatment team, attending a weekly clinical meeting via Zoom or in person.

Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position. The required time in the office is 2-3 days per week.

Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars as requested by supervisor, or as needed for professional development, or as required for accreditation or licensing.

QUALIFICATIONS – PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE /CERTIFICATIONS:

Master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field required.

Active Professional NJ Licensure preferred (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Psychologist)

Active Malpractice Insurance

Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting with adults is preferred.

Must be proficient with Google Drive and provide your own laptop, able to perform concurrent documentation and navigate through the electronic health record platform.
