Job Description
The Assistant Vice President, Business & Product Execution is responsible for leading the implementation of strategic product initiatives for Prime Therapeutics. This position is accountable for product implementation strategy, team management, and business execution framework utilized to support product & innovation offerings. The Assistant Vice President, Business & Product Execution is responsible for stewarding the product strategy toward execution, working with the innovation and strategy leadership team to deliver and execute on enterprise initiatives. This role will collaborate at the highest levels of the organization to drive change, ensure alignment, serve as an internal champion, and ultimately drive the execution of strategic initiatives focused on product, innovation, and strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive strategy and framework for enterprise product implementation and execution.
  • Coordinate and lead short, medium, and long-term strategic planning and implementation within the innovation and strategy organization.
  • Monitor and measure progress toward functional performance objectives; oversee the creation and execution of action plans to support team's achievement of performance objectives and project implementation.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to create strong alignment with internal and external business partners, business segments, and functional areas, ensuring coordination and unified approach to work.
  • Proactively build and maintain a network of key relationships to continuously understand business dynamics and appropriately influence business decisions; drive execution of initiatives by collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders cross-functionally to influence, implement, manage, and evolve processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders; establish an influential voice amongst senior leadership and build strong relationships with functional leaders across the organization, collaborating to solve complex problems.
  • Analyze client needs and internal performance to deliver data driven insights that support actionable strategic direction.
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations articulating business objectives, progress, challenges, and successes in stated objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership in talent planning (staffing planning, talent identification, etc.) and talent management (expectation setting, performance reviews, performance feedback, development goals, business goals, training, etc.).
  • Create and manage funding constructs that allocate, enable, and drive accountability for funding and budget management for lean operations for product execution and implementation initiatives.
  • Develop tools and best practices and clarify organizational roles and accountabilities to improve the implementation and execution framework.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS Diploma or GED is required
  • 12 years of work experience in strategy, transformation, and/or business and corporate development roles or related field
  • 8 years of leadership/management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of strategy, operations, reporting and forecasting with demonstrated ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information and draw conclusions
  • Proven ability to coach and collaborate with team members
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills at senior leadership and executive leadership levels with ability to effectively present and sell concepts and tactics
  • Ability to quickly understand needs and act on those needs; ability to conceptualize and effectuate change management and "out of the box" thinking
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or related field
  • Experience in the PBM industry
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Potential pay for this position ranges from $190,500.00 - $304,300.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
