Durable Medical Equipment Care Coordinator

Duties:

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
- Assist patients with insurance verification and equipment inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Pay is based on years of experience and knowledge level.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Durable Medical Office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledge of equipment terminology referral procedures is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment MUST BE BILINQUAL. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Join our Medical Equipment office as a Care Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling Delivery appointments, coordinating patient care, and providing administrative support to the Durable Medical Office staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

In this role, you will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure that all aspects of patient care are coordinated effectively. You will schedule appointments, assist with insurance verification, maintain accurate patient records, and provide administrative support as needed.

To be successful in this position, you should have previous experience in a Medical Equipment office or healthcare setting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in computer systems and software is required, including electronic health records (EHR). Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment and procedures is a plus.
