Production Supervisor- Bilingual in Spanish and English.

A successful meat Distribution Company located in Tucker, GA is seeking a Full-Time Production Supervisor to work from 3 : 00 pm to 12 : 00 am (40 hours a week) :

Job Description :

Coordinate and monitor the production processes of the plant, ensuring compliance with established policies and quality, safety, and health standards.

Responsibilities :

• Review of inventories of raw materials in the production warehouse, monitoring of the raw material's life, and inspection of the physical state of the same according to the supplier's technical specifications.
• Inspection of cleaning of work areas, state of machinery and work tools, and personal protective equipment of employees.
• Review and daily administration of the HACCP and SQF books in compliance with the plant quality standards.
• Make reports of raw material orders for the next day and generate the corresponding documentation for the transportation department.
• Coordinate the creation of new items ensuring the optimal costing of them (Grylls). Ensure daily deliveries (in time and form) of the finished product.
• Monitor production levels, availability of raw materials, production planning, and allocation of daily activities.
• Administration of attendance reports, incidents, accidents, repairs, and requests for supplies and raw materials. Coordinate and supervise the training and certifications necessary for employees.
• Supervision of production activities, assistance, discipline, and staff safety.
• Reception of returns and coordination of repacking processes prepared or reprocessed according to need.

Job Requirements :

• Associate in Applied Science Degree or higher in a related field.
• Bilingual English-Spanish
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
• 2 years’ manufacturing plant experience.
• Ability to create and follow schedules.
• Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices are required.
• HACCP Certification is a plus.
