Project Manager:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) in overseeing high-level operations for our large, multi-state retail storage company. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of the retail storage industry, and the ability to coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the seamless execution of critical projects. This role is instrumental in driving operational excellence and delivering strategic initiatives in alignment with our company's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

• Work closely with the COO to understand the strategic goals and objectives of the company.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure the successful execution of high-priority projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and departments, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and agreements as necessary.

Resource Management:

• Allocate internal resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support project requirements.
• Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks to keep projects on track.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to proactively address issues.
• Maintain a risk register and escalate critical issues to the COO for resolution.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to the COO, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that project deliverables meet the established quality standards.
• Implement quality control measures to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience as a project manager in a retail storage or similar industry.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of retail storage operations and industry-specific challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
