Prime Finance has reached an inflection point in its growth trajectory which presents an immediate opportunity to accelerate that growth through further expansion of existing and new credit strategies as well as extensive investment in internal processes, systems, and resources.
Job Summary:
Prime Finance is looking for a collaborative and motivated Treasury Accountant to join the Accounting team. This individual should possess an analytical background as well as a self-starter mentality. At minimum, three years experience in a corporate and treasury accountant role with private equity fund industry, data gathering and analysis, is required.
The position will assist primarily with cash management of Prime Finance funds and corporate entities, supporting the Accounting team. In addition to working closely with others on the Accounting team, the position will work cross-functionally and build relationships with team members from other departments.
Essential Functions:
  • Monitor daily cash position to ensure funds are sufficient to support fund and corporate treasury operations
  • Initiate daily treasury wires through different banking portals for various fund and corporate entity activities
  • Work closely with subscription line lenders to manage fund daily cash balances
  • Communicate with various departments to forecast fund and corporate entity future cash flow
  • Perform analysis to project timing of fund capital calls and fund capital distributions, advising senior Treasury Leadership on projections
  • Prepare investor reports on an as-needed basis (i.e., capital call and capital distribution statements)
  • Prepare schedules for the annual audit and provide audit support as needed
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
  • Support the accounting team with other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or commensurate work experience required
  • 3 years of related treasury, accounting or analysis experience in a private equity fund required
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with a particular focus on MS Excel required (pivot tables, sumifs, index/match, etc.)
  • Demonstrated abilities in budget and forecast analysis, and financial reporting, et al.
  • Experience with multi ledger accounting system
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of our investors', partners', and internal affairs
  • Exceptional communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management
  • Team-oriented and able to share information, goals, opportunities, successes and failures with appropriate parties
