We partner with leading architects, designers and contractors to create seamless technology experiences in some of the most sought-after homes in the country. Our company was established 33 years ago and is still led today by Derrick Thames, a respected leader in the custom home technology industry. Many of our team members have been with us for over 20 years. We are based in Irvine California, with satellite offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Residential Audio/Video (A/V) Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Custom home A/V and technology industry, possessing the skills necessary to manage projects efficiently and ensure the highest level of service for our clients.
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Execution

• Evaluate technician resources and project priorities to plan and execute residential audio-video projects effectively.
• Ensure adherence to the Prime ECS implementation process, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

2. Profitability Management

• Take ownership of project profitability by making strategic decisions and managing resources efficiently.
• All project managers receive bonuses tied to project profitability, providing a direct incentive for effective project management.

3. Detail Orientation

• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail while simultaneously understanding the broader project goals.
• Oversee all project components to guarantee the successful integration of audio-video systems into residential spaces.

4. Sense of Urgency

• Act with a sense of urgency at all times to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Effectively handle unforeseen challenges and proactively address issues to ensure the smooth progression of projects.

5. Continuous Learning

• Embrace a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance personal and team performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management
• Strong understanding of audio-video technologies and residential integration
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on both micro and macro aspects of project management
• Demonstrated ability to act with urgency in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The compensation package for this role includes:

• Competitive salary within the range of $80,000 - $120,000
