Primary Talent Partners has an opening as a CAD Operator III with one of our global Utility Energy Industry clients. This is an initial 12-month contract to start.
**Full time, first six weeks will be fully onsite, then will need to report 3 days/week in office**
Target Pay: $27-28.50/ hour

Description:
Provide drafting expertise using Bentley microstation to create and update Enterprise diagrams and schematics related to the electrical distribution and transmission infrastructure. Candidates are expected to have expert level CAD skills including experience with Bentley Microstation. Experience creating and interpreting electrical design schematics along with knowledge of electric diagram symbology is highly preferred.
Creates and updates electric diagrams and schematics using construction designs and other relevant information using Bentley Microstation software. Reviews engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with electrical symbology standards and schematics is preferred. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
