Primary EyeCare is located in Delano, MN. We are expanding and adding a part-time
Optometric Assistant/Sales Associate position. Will train the right candidate!

Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Optical duties- Assist with frame selection, frame and lens ordering, dispensing glasses, adjusting/repairing glasses, verifying lens and frame orders and contacting patients for pick-ups.
• Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual needs.
• Adjust and repair eyewear as needed.
• Maintain inventory of eyewear and order new stock as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of patient prescriptions and transactions.
• Billing insurance/vision plans.
• Checking in/out patients.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Dispensing contacts/Contact lens sales.
• Answering phones.

The skills and qualifications for this position include:

• Previous experience in optical or health care settings is preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Excellent customer service and time management/organization skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Punctual.

Work Schedule:

● Monday-Friday (Flexible hours)

Compensation:

● Primary EyeCare offers PTO/Sick leave, uniform allowance, retirement plan, employee discount.

● Starting wage is $16-20 per hour, depending on experience.

Education:
● High school or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
