Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lead Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Lead Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing oversight of responsibilities for all Medical Assistants, maintaining optimal functionality of office operations.

Essential Functions

• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to assure highest level of clinical care and patient satisfaction

• Create and contribute a positive strong morale and spirit within their team and office

• Support the office team in understanding how their daily work contributes to the mission, values, and goals of PCWNY

• Serve as lead trainer of newly hired MA’s assigned to the office and oversee any continuous training

• Track and order medical and/or office supplies for designated office(s)

▪ Pair MAs with Provider to ensure efficient patient flow

▪ Schedule break coverage

▪ Schedule proper board assignments

▪ Adjust coverage as needed for MA department call offs, late arrivals, and changes in workload throughout the day

▪ Assign closing tasks to medical assistants

• Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to; provide additional education on policies/procedures as indicated

• Oversee and maintain smooth patient flow in the office

• Oversee any and all triage boards assigned to Medical Assistants

- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control measures

Requirements/Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience preferred

• MEDENT Experience preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Strong interpersonal skills for work team and patient care

• Attention to detail

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Must have integrity and honesty

• Must have a compatible chemistry with management team

• Must have a high energy level, be self-motivated

• Highly organized with very effective time management skills with ability to multi-task, respond to rapid change

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work with minimal supervision

• Demonstrates compassion & empathy in interactions

• Application and demonstration of critical thinking skills and abilities

• Strong recall and working knowledge of PCWNY clinical operations

• Basic computer skills

Pay: $21.00 - $24.50 per hour
