Job Description

This position encompasses both administrative and clinical aspects of medical assisting. It includes, but is not limited to, check-in, check-out, answering telephone calls, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting copays, deductibles, and co-insurances, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, processing requests for medical records, triage, obtaining vitals and other pertinent information from patients, assisting providers with exams and procedures, and performing diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant designation, with a minimum of two years of recent outpatient experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care. Associates degree strongly preferred.
