Job Summary:The Accounting Manager Manager will lead and supervise a growing team of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and refund clerks and specialists. Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees Accounting operations, which include accounts receivable, accounts payable, and refunds.
• Be the face of the team, servicing other departments’ billing and invoicing needs.
• Draft Accounting Reference Guides and train the accounting team and the interdepartmental teams.
• Document workflow and processes and identify responsible parties
• Partner with the business process optimization team and the tech team to improve the accounting team’s tools and systems
• Recruits and hires Accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
• Oversees the system of internal controls over Accounting functions to minimize risk.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
• Be responsible for on-time payment releases and collections.
• Provide records to assist in month-end close.
• Provide records for audit assistance
• Research account histories requested by Accounting Management
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5 years of accounting operations experience required
• 2 years of NetSuite user experience preferred
• Any type of NetSuite Certification, e.g., SuiteFoundation, Administrator, Financial User, SuiteAnalytics User, ERP Consultant, etc. is highly desired.
• Work experience in retail, e-commerce, drop-ship, marketplace, government, wholesale, or manufacturing

• Full time - In office (8 am to 5 pm)
